Indication report / 6 dB sizing assessment
Live extraction
Report the indication rather than relying on a pre-filled extraction. Axial position is measured left/right from weld centreline (− left, + right), not through-wall. Depth is vertical from the OD; encoder measures distance along the weld. Report the measured leg explicitly. Qualifier files require four separate indication reports.
Multi-indication case: report the indications separately, left to right across the C-scan.

0 of 3 indications reported.
Use C-scan to find a reflector, then A/S-scan and angle cursor to interpret it.
Data and score references are synthetic. Third-leg volumetric echoes can come from the same physical flaw at lower angles and lower sound pressure; the flat near-side LOF is strongly specular and should have no detectable third-leg response in this setup. Showing three legs does not establish code compliance; actual coverage depends on the governing code and qualified procedure. A 6 dB drop along scan does not directly give through-wall height. Patterns are illustrative, not unique proof of defect type. No actual inspection files, code acceptance decisions or validated focal laws are used.
